Welcome to the home page of The Old Walnut Farm website. We hope you enjoy your visit.
The Old Walnut Farm is a small ensemble of renovated farm cottages and barns set in the beautiful Dordogne countryside close by the village of Chassaignes.
The Old Walnut Farm can be found mid-way between Riberac, a traditional French rural town famous for it's market, and Aubeterre sur Dronne, one of the most beautiful villages in France. It is the most perfect of places to spend your holidays in the South West of France.
On this website you will find everything you need to successfully plan your self-catering holiday in the Dordogne.
The Old Walnut Farm was originally two farms, merged many years ago and recently renovated to provide immaculate family acommodation, in three gites, for up to five people each.
Our swimming pool - 12m x 6m, has an ample shallow end for children, and conforms to current child-safety standards. It is surrounded by a large sun terrace, complete with parasols and loungers.
The farm is set in it's own grounds of approximately 3 acres, giving way to open countryside beyond. Well off the main roads, access is by a private lane.
